Certainly the pick of the accommodation in and around Cafayate, the Patios de Cafayate is a superb hotel that offers old world luxury with outstanding views, facilities and food. Located in its own working vineyard, you are given the feeling of total seclusion while being only a couple of minutes outside of the town. Moreover, with a superb restaurant, a pool and a full spa, there are few reasons for you to leave anyway!

Part of the Sheraton Luxury Collection, this small and luxurious property was once a private house and has been carefully restored to keep with its history. As you enter through the beautifully maintained gardens, into the first of the small courtyards, you feel as though you are entering a private world that is away from prying eyes.

The main areas of Patios de Cafayate are centred on the lounge/bar area and the outdoor patio that looks out to the swimming pool, the vines and the hazy red hills in the distance…needless to say that the views are quite spectacular! This main area has a really relaxed feel to it and instantly puts you at ease.

The rooms, similarly, have an antique and charming feel to them with the pick of the bunch definitely being the vineyard view rooms and the vineyard view suites that look out to the hills and the vines, but the garden view rooms are still very good indeed.

To cap it all off, Patios de Cafayate also has a fantastic spa that offers a variety of different services from massages to wine treatments that involve an array of different methods and permutations!

Great views, great service/food, facilities, location

Quite expensive
