Puelche is not bad at all but we feel slightly neutral towards it. It is a good hotel for what it offers but feels like something is missing compared to the nearby Cumbres Patagonicas. There is little to fault this property so no doubt anyone staying here will be perfectly happy during their stay.

Next to Casa Kalfu and a stone throw away from Cumbres Patagonicas. This is a good location for getting into town for restaurants and shops.

The rooms are a good size (35-40 square metres across the board), well presented modernly furnished, airy and with plenty of daylight. You will find you have everything you need and importantly, they are reasonably priced so no complaints for value for money at this property.

The first floor is a car parking space so the 21 rooms are spread over the remaining 5 floors the top of which featuring the biggest room available (essentially a penthouse style Suite with balcony). A quarter of the rooms have balconies but not many offer perfect lake views, a couple have no views at all but you can expect plenty of air and daylight coming in thanks to the ample windows in each room.

You can manage your booking and communicate to the hotel reception staff via My Hotel app wherever you are via your smartphone, which is a convenient little feature. In terms of facilities, you can enjoy a sauna and a Jacuzzi but for a little workout you are limited to equipment (just 2 machines) and you’ll be sharing the space with anyone in the Jacuzzi, which makes us think that this addition was just an afterthought.

Buffet breakfast and locally sourced produce with German breads
