Hotel Palacio Astoreca

This stunning 1923-built property was formerly the Valparaiso Arts College, but opened as a hotel in 2012 following two years of restoration. Palacio Astoreca is a just a stone’s throw from the El Peral Funicular and offers spectacular views of Valparaiso Bay. The Parisian owner’s French influence is evident, from the design to the imported furniture.

Cumbres San Pedro de Atacama

Set in 20 acres of land and with the largest Spa in all of San Pedro de Atacama, the Cumbres is an impressive hotel that still feels intimate thanks to its thoughtful, single-storey design - inspired by the indigenous population of the Atacama region. Combined with 21st century technology, Cumbres have devised a unique environment for the Atacama Desert experience.

Hotel Altiplanico

Hotel Altiplanico, San Pedro is designed for your stay to be an immersive experience of the Atacama region. With the adobe buildings, grass & bamboo fields, local cuisine and quiet location, it succeeds. However, some might find the limited facilities and basic rooms a little too true to the sparseness of the desert.

Hotel AWA

Hotel Awa is an architectural marvel with breathtaking view of the Osorno volcano from its secluded position on the shoreline of Lake Llanquihue. After 2 ½ years of construction, Awa opened its doors in November 2016 and has become the place to stay for those looking to treat themselves whilst staying in this part of Chile’s Lake district.

Casa Atacama

An excellent alternative in the San Pedro area for those who don’t have the budget for the 5-star big hitters such as Tierra, Alto, Cumbres et al. Casa Atacama knows it cannot match their grandeur, so instead focuses – successfully – on providing comfortable, private accommodation in a relaxing and peaceful environment.
